About Our Nursery Room
Our Nursery classroom is a safe, loving environment designed specifically for infants from 6 weeks through approximately 12 months of age. We understand that leaving your baby in someone else's care is a big step, and our dedicated infant caregivers are committed to making that transition as smooth and reassuring as possible — for both you and your little one.
Each infant is cared for on an individualized schedule that mirrors their routine at home. Feeding times, nap schedules, and play activities are all tailored to each baby's unique needs and developmental stage. We work closely with families to ensure consistency between home and the center.
Our caregivers are trained in infant development, safe sleep practices (SIDS prevention), and responsive caregiving. We follow all Michigan licensing requirements for infant-to-caregiver ratios to ensure every baby receives the attentive, one-on-one care they deserve.
Throughout the day, infants are engaged with age-appropriate sensory play, tummy time, music, reading, and gentle exploration activities that support their cognitive, motor, and social-emotional development.
Individualized Schedules
Each baby follows their own feeding, sleeping, and play routine — we work with your family to maintain consistency.
Safe Sleep Practices
All staff are trained in SIDS prevention and safe sleep guidelines. Cribs meet current safety standards.
Low Caregiver Ratios
We maintain low infant-to-caregiver ratios in compliance with Michigan licensing to ensure attentive, responsive care.
Sensory & Motor Play
Daily tummy time, sensory bins, soft toys, music, and reading support every milestone from rolling to sitting to crawling.
Family Communication
Daily reports keep you informed of feedings, diaper changes, naps, and special moments throughout the day.
Breastfeeding Friendly
We warmly support breastfeeding families. Bring labeled, pre-mixed bottles and we'll follow your feeding plan exactly.
