Toddler 2 Classroom

The Toddler 2 classroom serves children who are approximately 18/24 months to 2½ years old — a stage bursting with curiosity, growing independence, and the beginning of real friendships. Children in this room are making huge developmental leaps, and our experienced teachers are here to nurture every one of them.

Our curriculum at this level is intentionally play-based and child-led, with structured activities woven throughout the day to build early academic skills. Children engage in art, music, movement, dramatic play, and outdoor exploration that support all areas of development.

Language continues to explode at this age, and our teachers are skilled at extending conversations, introducing new vocabulary, and encouraging children to express their thoughts and feelings. Circle time, storytime, and group activities build early listening and pre-literacy skills.

We actively support growing independence in self-care skills — hand washing, dressing, and toileting — in a patient, encouraging environment. We celebrate every milestone, big and small, and keep families informed and involved every step of the way.
